SUMMARY:D*na Festival Gastronòmic Dénia
DESCRIPTION:D*na Festival returns to Dénia for its 8th edition on September 27 and 28, firmly established as a major showcase of Mediterranean gastronomic culture.\nCurated by three-Michelin-starred chef Quique Dacosta and organized by the Dénia Creative City of Gastronomy Foundation, this year’s festival celebrates cooking as an artistic and collective expression, rooted in the territory and its people.\nThis edition highlights gastronomy as a total art, in dialogue with other disciplines like music, dance, film, literature, and visual arts, which will enrich the festival’s artistic journey.\nD*na 2025 is a sensory and cultural experience open to all audiences. Local producers and artisans from Marina Alta and the Valencian Community will present their work with a deep respect for tradition and the environment — including farmers, fishermen, winemakers, cheesemakers, salters, bakers, beekeepers, and food artisans.\nProducts will be displayed in booths along an artistic route, where each ingredient tells its story: oils, jams, sausages, wines, fruits, breads, and sweets that reflect the rich Mediterranean culinary landscape.\nLocal hospitality establishments may also participate with tapas-style dishes based on local ingredients and inspired by an artistic discipline, offered in the festival’s tasting areas.\nThe program will feature talks, showcookings, and workshops, where artisans, chefs, and artists will share their knowledge and emotions through the art of cooking.\nThe Alicante Municipal Tourism and Beaches Board will take part with a showcooking on the main stage.\nOrganized by:\nDénia Creative City of Gastronomy Foundation (City Council of Dénia, CEDMA, AEHTMA, and Baleària)\nWith the collaboration of the Dénia City Council, Turisme Comunitat Valenciana, Costa Blanca Provincial Tourism Board, and Quique Dacosta as gastronomic curator\nMore information and registration (from September):https://www.dnafestivaldenia.com/\n
