Combining painting, engraving, and experimental techniques, Fornes uses <strong data-start=\"6458\" data-end=\"6489\">salt as a symbolic material<\/strong>, expressing nature\u2019s duality and evoking <strong data-start=\"6531\" data-end=\"6570\">ancestral and elemental connections<\/strong>.<\/p>\n<p data-start=\"6573\" data-end=\"6796\">The exhibition includes <strong data-start=\"6597\" data-end=\"6612\">24 canvases<\/strong> and <strong data-start=\"6617\" data-end=\"6652\">eight salt pool-inspired tables<\/strong>, filled with <strong data-start=\"6666\" data-end=\"6693\">fine salt and pink rock<\/strong>, referencing the <strong data-start=\"6711\" data-end=\"6765\">salt mountains of Ibiza\u2019s Ses Salines Natural Park<\/strong>, where the project originated.<\/p>\n<p data-start=\"6798\" data-end=\"7191\">Beyond its poetic and symbolic dimensions, <em data-start=\"6841\" data-end=\"6848\">LASAL<\/em> also examines the <strong data-start=\"6867\" data-end=\"6902\">social and ecological relevance<\/strong> of salt production, particularly in <strong data-start=\"6939\" data-end=\"6968\">Santa Pola and Torrevieja<\/strong>, key environmental landmarks in the Valencian Community.
