DESCRIPTION:The Gran Carrera del Mediterráneo 21K is a coastal half marathon of 21.0975 km, officially certified by the Royal Spanish Athletics Federation, running between Alicante and Santa Pola with the Mediterranean Sea as a spectacular backdrop.\nParticipants will start in the centre of Alicante, next to the Provincial Palace of the Diputación, and follow a route parallel to the Mediterranean coastline, passing iconic landscapes such as El Palmeral Park, the beaches of Urbanova, Arenales del Sol and Carabassí, before finishing at Varadero Beach in Santa Pola.
