El Palmeral Park

EL PALMERAL PARK: AN OASIS OF NATURE AND FUN IN ALICANTE
El Palmeral Park is one of the most unique outdoor spaces in the city of Alicante and its province. This natural haven delights the senses and offers a variety of recreational activities, making it the perfect destination for the entire family.
The park stands out for its lush vegetation, home to over 7,000 palm trees from the Arecaceae family. Among them is the majestic date palm, which can grow up to 20 meters tall, with impressive leaves reaching lengths of up to 7 meters.
Walking along its wooden pathways and bridges provides an immersive experience that connects visitors with the natural beauty of the area.
RECREATIONAL ACTIVITIES FOR EVERYONE
One of the park’s highlights is its pump track, a circuit designed for bicycles, skateboards, roller skates, and scooters. This space not only promotes physical activity but also offers young visitors an ideal place to develop their skills in a safe and fun environment.
The park also features children’s play areas with unique elements, offering families a delightful spot for younger ones to explore and play.
THE PIER AND THE PAVILION
The recently renovated pier, complete with a new pontoon, allows visitors to enjoy boat rides—a recreational activity loved by both adults and children. From here, visitors can admire the park’s stunning surroundings while navigating its serene waters.
The pavilion, inaugurated in October 1997, transforms during the summer and other special times of the year into a cultural meeting point. It provides families with unforgettable moments through a varied program of performances, including live entertainment, children’s theater, and puppet shows.
