Accessible Beaches
The Municipal Board of Tourism and Beaches of Alicante City & Beach constantly works to ensure that Alicante’s beaches are inclusive and accessible for people with functional, intellectual, and/or sensory diversity.
These permanent facilities are available at the beaches of San Juan, El Postiguet, and Saladares-Urbanova and offer recreational and educational services for people with functional diversity and bathroom assistance services for people with reduced mobility during the summer season.
The beach of Tabarca Island also has a point for accompaniment and bathroom assistance services for people with reduced mobility in summer.
